MLUP PROMVIHEATHOR CENTER

Mlup Promviheathor Center (MPC) obtained registration permit at the Ministry of Interior on July 29, 2005, We are a non-profit and local NGO based in Sre Ambel district, Koh Kong Province. We work as partnership with communities and vulnerable groups to build a resilient society and free from poverty.

We want to see a society where all people, especially women, children, and vulnerable groups, are resilient, live with Brahmavihāra, enjoy their rights with sustainable natural resources.

MPC’s Target in Koh Kong Provinces

In Koh Kong province,

The natural resources sector has a coastline of 206 kilometers, 46,529 hectares of mangrove forests, 31 communities-based organization, 17 fishing communities, and 14 communities protected area.
The education sector has 152 schools, including 122 primary schools, 20 secondary schools, and 12 high schools.
The public sector has 119 villages, 29 communes, and 7 districts.

MPC target areas in Koh Kong province include 4 target districts, 15 target communes, and 54 target villages.

Natural resources sector: 13 communities-based organization, 6 fishing communities, and 7 communities protected area.
Education sector: 31 target schools, 27 primary schools, and 4 secondary schools.
Public sector: 4 districts, 15 communes, 34 villages, 5 Women Champion groups, 39 Farmer Producer Groups.
